- This adaptor is fitted on all new Knorr-Bremse calipers as an OEM part of the caliper, and is also supplied as part of the OEM service kit, along with the dust cover which fits over the caliper adjuster
- It is designed to shear/break-away when used, hence the desire for a socket which covers the same application
